Built by a Developer Who Got Tired of Watching Businesses Waste Time

Eight38 started with a simple observation: businesses everywhere were spending hours on work that machines should handle. Lead follow-ups sitting in inboxes for days. Reports being copy-pasted together every Monday morning. Content ideas dying in notebooks because there was never enough time.

As a software developer based in Cape Town, I'd spent years building systems that solve problems. But the biggest problem I kept seeing wasn't a lack of software — it was a lack of the right automation. Businesses had the tools. They just didn't have the systems connecting them.
